This easy dinner recipe made on the Blackstone flat top griddle is loved by my family. Sausage, cabbage, and onions are really all the ingredients. This can be cooked on a weeknight when time is limited. Also, this is low carb too.
Ingredients:
Half head cabbage, sliced thin
1 lb sausages (more if you like), sliced thin
1 onion, sliced thin
2 tsp chicken powder
1-2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
Water
Splash of red wine vinegar
Directions:
1. Preheat griddle to Med/low. Put oil down and put your cabbage on griddle. Put onion down on another part of griddle. Put salt and pepper on cabbage and onions. Let it sauté for a few minutes then flip cabbage and onions. Add water to cabbage and cover.
2. While cabbage and onions are getting soft, add sausage to griddle. While sausage is cooking, add onions to the cabbage and mix well. Let cook while the sausage is cooking. Cook cabbage to your liking. Add chicken powder to cabbage and mix.
3. Add sausages to the cabbage and add some red wine vinegar. Cook another few minutes and taste. Adjust as necessary.
