These french toast roll ups are easy and very delicious to make. Using some bread and various fillings, you'll have a sweet treat whipped up in no time!
Ingredients
Rollups:
Brioche bread sliced
1 can apple pie filling
Peanut Butter & Jelly
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 /2 tsp cinnamon
1 /4 tsp salt
dredge:
2 large eggs
1 /2 cup heavy cream
1 tbsp sugar
2 tsp vanilla
2 tsp cinnamon
little salt
Dredge for after cooked:
shake Uncle Steve's sweet dessert
Directions
Step 1
1 Preheat griddle to 325-350 degrees (low). Chop up apples from can and put in bowl. Add brown sugar, cinnamon and salt to the apple mixture.
Step 2
2 In a shallow dish, mix up 2 eggs, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and salt and mix well and set aside. In another shallow pan, add Uncle Steve's Sweet Dessert Shake ( can use cinnamon sugar if you don't have Uncle Steve's).
Step 3
3 Cut crust off the slices of bread and roll out flat. Add apple mixture to the long end and roll up tight. Do the same with the Peanut Butter & Jelly.
Step 4
4 Melt butter on the griddle and add the rolled French toast. When all down, add some pats of butter all around the french toast. cook for about 3 minutes on the first to get a golden brown and then flip and do the same on all sides. When golden, take off griddle, roll in Uncle Steve's and dust with powdered sugar. Can also add some syrup if desired.
