This jalapeno burger was simply phenomenal and easy to complete off the Blackstone griddle. It really wasn't that hot and I'd love to have another one of these.
Ingredients
2 Burger patties ( I used 5.6oz patties)
4 slices bacon
2 Buns
4 tbsp Mayo
2 tbsp Blackstone Bootleg Seasoning
2 Jalapenos, cut lengthwise and seeded
2 slices American cheese
2 cups Shredded cheese (I used a cheddar blend and pre shredded type)
2 tbsp BBQ sauce (thick and dark type)
Directions
Step 1
1. Preheat griddle to low. Cut top off jalapeno and filet lengthwise to make one big jalapeno. Put some butter down and put jalapeno's cut side down. Put down bacon and cook to your liking.
Step 2
2. Move bacon out of the way and put the burger patties down in the bacon grease and season with Blackstone Boot Leg Burger. Let cook for about three minutes and flip. Check jalapeno and when chared move to edge of griddle to keep warm. Put buns on griddle to toast.
Step 3
3. When burgers are done, move to edge of griddle to keep warm. When buns are toasted remove from heat. Next, put two one cup chedar cheese in a circular pattern about the size of the bun. Put jalapeno on top of the cheese. While that is melting, add a slice of American cheese to the burger. Put mayo on the buns. Put bacon on top of the burger with cheese. Then, top with cheese and jalapeno. Add some BBQ sauce to top and enjoy
