Is it a burger or a sandwich? Either way, it's good and very simple on the Blackstone griddle
Ingredients
6 ½ oz 80/20 ground chuck
1 tsp salt
1 /4 tsp pepper
1 /4 tsp garlic powder
1 /4 tsp onion powder
1 /4 tsp beef powder
4 slices American cheese
2 tbsp Mayo
Sweet salad cubes
1 tsp Ketchup
4 slices thick toast
1 /2 onion thinly sliced
Cooking white wine
Directions
Step 1
1 Split the meat in two and make a ball. Mix the seasoning together in a small container and set aside. Mix ketchup, salad cubes and mayo together in a small bowl and set aside. Preheat griddle to low and put onions down. Sprinkle with a little seasoning and let carmalize, then add some cooking wine to sweeten. When done move onions to the side and crank up the middle of griddle to high (about 400).
Step 2
2 Season the one side of the meat and press down to get a crust on the burger. Don't let it get too thin. Season the other side of the burger. Split the onions into two piles. Put butter down on the griddle and add bread and toast both sides.
Step 3
3 While toasting bread, add onions to burger then top with two slices of cheese. When bread is toasted add sauce to bottom bread and add burger followed by more sauce on to toast and cover.
