Perfect Steak on the Blackstone

Cooking steak on a Blackstone griddle is always easy and delicious with a few tips here, you'll cook a great steak in no time!

Ingredients:

1 1/2 lb New York Strip Steak

2 tbsp Hussey's Heifer Dust

1 sweet potato

1 bunch asparagus spears

1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:

1. Preheat griddle to med/high or 350-400 degrees. Liberally apply Heifer Dust to all sides of the steak

2. Cook sweet potato about half way in a microwave. Once cooled, cut sweet potato into slices

3. Add some Bacon up to griddle and add asparagus. Add butter to another part of griddle and add sweet potatoes. Add salt to veggie's.

4. After the veggie's have been cooking for a few minutes, add some beef tallow or oil to griddle and put down steak. Check the veggie's and flip as necessary. After a minute or so flip steak. Flip often to cook evenly through. When veggie's are done, turn off one burner and slide the veggie's to that side to keep warm. Keep flipping steak every minute until internal temp is your desired donness. I pulled at 122 degrees.

5. When steak is done, remove to a plate along with the asparagus. Turn off all burners. Add some butter to the sweet potatoes and let melt.

6. In the meantime, add 2-3 tablespoons of butter to the griddle and add Rosemary, Thyme and garlic to the butter. When all incorporated, pour mixture over the steak. Add some lemon juice to asparagus as well as the steak if desired. Add some parm to the asparagus.
