Making this pork chop sandwich on the Blackstone griddle was a lot of fun and it was very simple and most of all, very good!
Ingredients
4 boneless pork chops, about inch thick
1 cup flour
1 cup milk
1 large egg
1 tsp salt
1 tbs sugar
Chili
1 /2 pound 80/20 ground chuck
4 tbs ketchup
1 /2 tsp salt
1 /2 tsp pepper
1 /4 TSP garlic powder
1 /4 TSP onion powder 1/4 tsp beef powder
1 /2 tsp chili powder
Slaw
2 cups cabbage
2 tbs mayonnaise
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbs sugar
1 /2 tsp salt
1 /2 tsp pepper
sandwich
Mustard
Tomato
mayonnaise
4 hamburger buns
Directions
Step 1
1 Pound Pork Chops thin with a tendering hammer and season with salt and pepper. Set aside
Step 2
2 Mix flour, eggs, salt and sugar untill blended. Add milk slowly until mixed well and a little thinner than pancake batter.
Step 3
3 Put skillet on griddle and add ground chuck and cook till no longer pink. Add rest of chili ingredients and stir. Keep warm,
Step 4
4 Dredge pork chops in batter and add to a well oiled griddle. Cook approximately 3 minutes per side or until internal temp reaches 140-145
Step 5
5 While pork chops are cooking, mix the slaw ingredients together. Add some butter to the griddle and put down the hamburger buns to toast.
Step 6
6 Once toasted, put some mayo on bun, followed by mustard. Then put a pork chop on top, add chili, slaw, chopped onions and a tomato. Have lots of napkins.
