The Secret and Viral Flying Dutchman

I had to see how this viral and secret menu recipe from In and Out Burger called the Flying Dutchman tasted. I like onions and I like burgers, so why not! Watch the entire video and wait till the end for some funny bloopers!

Ingredients

2 sweet onions sliced thick(six slices)

2 tbsp Hussey's Heifer Dust, divided

1 tsp balsamic vinegar, divided

1 lb 80/20 ground chuck

6 slices american cheese

Dukes Mayonnaise

Directions:

1. Preheat griddle to med/low. Add oil and then sprinkle with Heifer Dust. Put onions down in the Heifer Dust. Season the top of onion with Heifer Dust. Drizzle with some balsamic vinegar. Cook about 2 minutes and flip.

2. While the onions are cooking on second side, make your smash burgers by taking 2-3oz of burger rolled into a ball (make six patties). Put down on griddle and season with Heifer Dust. Take your smasher and smash the burgers flat. Hold for 10 seconds and move to the next one till all are smashed. By the time you get all six smashed, it's time to flip and add a slice of cheese.

3. While cheese is melting, add mayo to each onion slice. Take a burger and put on onion, cheese side down. Take another burger and put on top of the burger with onion only cheese side up. Add another slice of onion with mayo down. Do this with each of the 6 onion slices.

4. Wrap with paper towel or sandwich paper to make it easier to eat. Enjoy
